Dr. Brian Huber started and completed his educational journey at the University of Cincinnati, first earning his undergraduate degree in philosophy, and then his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He came to South Bend to complete his residency at the Saint Joseph Health System. Dr. Huber is board-certified in Family Medicine (ABFM).
Dr. Huber’s passion lies in teaching, and he has taught every level of medicine including nursing, advanced nursing, nurse practitioners and physicians. He believes medicine is based on the art of teaching, and that all patients need to be educated on their condition to succeed. Procedures, within the urgent care realm, are also an area of interest for him.
In his spare time, Dr. Huber loves being outdoors, whether fishing, hunting, golfing or shooting. Cooking is also a passion of his, along with spending time with his wife and five children.
Dr. Huber is the medical director and a practicing physician at The South Bend Clinic’s Immediate Care Center, Day Road Campus.
