Jeffrey Cooper, M.D., received his medical degree from Rush University Medical School in Chicago. From there he completed his general surgery and urology residencies at the University of Kansas Medical Center. In his last year of urology residency, Dr. Cooper was honored to serve as Chief Resident. His undergraduate degrees in biology and chemistry are from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois.
Dr. Cooper is board-certified in Urology and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. He is trained in minimally invasive surgery and in DaVinci Robotic Surgery. He treats a complete range of male and female urologic problems including patients with kidney stones; urine control problems; surgical and non-surgical treatment of kidney, bladder and prostate cancers; vasectomy; and evaluation of male sexual function. Dr. Cooper enjoys serving patients of all ages from children through adulthood.
He is married and has two children. In his spare time, Dr. Cooper enjoys wine collecting, traveling, reading and music, including playing his trumpet. He is an avid video gamer and believes it keeps his reflexes and hand dexterity well-honed for his surgical skills.
