Laura Albright, M.D. is a board-certified Family Medicine physician. She received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, and received her Medical Doctor degree from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. She completed her family medicine residency locally at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center.
Dr. Albright loves getting to know her patients and their families on a personal level, and being able to care for them throughout their lifetimes. Caring for all ages and a broad range of ailments means practicing medicine never gets boring. She values that being a family medicine physician allows her to educate her patients in a more in-depth manner, which she believes is the key to helping patients succeed with their health goals.
Laura has a special affinity for women’s health issues and the management of chronic disease, as well as caring for children and other age groups.
In her spare time, Laura can usually be found reading a good book or seeing a fun movie. She enjoys dinner with friends, circuit training and walking. Her passions lie in traveling and art — she believes seeing other places and getting to know something new helps create cultural understanding and fosters a deeper understanding of the complicated world.
Dr. Albright is a practicing physician at The South Bend Clinic’s Ironwood Road Campus.
