Brian Huber, practicing physician and medical director of The South Bend Clinic’s Immediate Care Center, started and completed his educational journey at the University of Cincinnati. There he got his undergraduate degree in philosophy and then stayed and completed his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He came to South Bend to complete his residency at the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center Family Medicine Residency Program.
Brian’s passion lies in teaching, which he has done in every level of medicine including nursing, advanced nursing, physicians assistants and physicians. He believes medicine is based on the art of teaching and all patients need to be educated on their disease to succeed. Likewise, he really likes working in the ICC which allows him to practice medicine where he can educate patients when they need it the most.
Brian is board-certified in family medicine (ABFM) and an active member of American Academy of Family Practitioners (AAFP).
In his spare time, Brian loves being outdoors whether it is fishing, hunting, golfing or shooting. Cooking is also a passion of his as well as spending time with his five children and beautiful wife.
Brian Huber is the medical director and a practicing physician within the Immediate Care Center at the main campus of The South Bend Clinic on North Eddy Street.
