Dr. Corey Groh, a board qualified podiatrist, received his Bachelors of Science in Biology degree from Indiana University. And he received his medical degree from Dr. William Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. Community Health Network in Indianapolis is where he completed his residency. While there, he earned an additional certification for Reconstructive Rearfoot / Ankle Surgery.
Corey Groh, D.P.M. is glad to be practicing back home in Michiana. His love of the field was sparked very early on by South Bend Clinic Podiatrist, Jeff Niespodziany, D.P.M. who was his neighbor as he was growing up. Groh shadowed Jeff during medical school and helped at his South Bend Clinic office every chance he had during holiday breaks. He says the long-time podiatrist has been an invaluable mentor to him over the years.
Corey was drawn to podiatry because he loves practicing a specialty in which he can help people feel better the same day. Well-trained in every aspect of podiatry, he especially enjoys ankle replacement, arthroscopy, flat foot reconstruction and trauma.
He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Indiana Podiatric Medical Association and American Podiatric Medical Association.
In his spare time, Corey runs and plays basketball and he says he is obsessed with Indiana Hoosier Basketball.
He will be practicing downtown at The South Bend Clinic on North Eddy, as well as our campuses at Ironwood, New Carlisle, and a new satellite office in Valparaiso.
