Heidi N. Schmeltzer received her Doctorate of Audiology from Western Michigan University. She completed her Bachelors of Science in Speech, Language, and Hearing Science from Northern Michigan University.
Heidi discovered her passion for audiology during her time at Northern Michigan University and pursued this further at Western Michigan University. While she thrives on helping people of all ages on their hearing journey, she has always had a special passion for working with children and loves seeing them discover and enjoy the world around them. She also likes working with cochlear implants and bone-anchored hearing aids (BAHAs).
When not at work, she enjoys many hobbies including playing piano, flute, and oboe, painting, and photography.
Heidi practices downtown in the Audiology Department at The South Bend Clinic on North Eddy Street.
