Kathleen Sheeran, Au.D, CCC-A, an audiologist at The South Bend Clinic’s main campus, graduated with her Doctorate in Audiology from Rush University in Chicago, IL and completed her externship with Froedtert Hospital and the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Hearing Sciences and Spanish from the Indiana University- Bloomington.
She sees patients across the lifespan, performing diagnostic audiologic testing, vestibular testing including electrocochleography (ECOG) and videonystagmography (VNG) testing, unsedated and sedated auditory brainstem response (ABR) testing on newborns and adults, traditional and bone-anchored hearing aids, and cochlear implants. In her externship, Dr. Sheeran worked extensively with cochlear implants and is passionate about assisting patients and their families through the implant process and improving their communication and quality of life.
Kathleen Sheeran, Au.D. is a licensed audiologist and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A). During her training, Dr. Sheeran traveled to Guatemala to perform hearing screenings, diagnostics, and hearing aid services with an established foundation and loved the opportunity to combine her studies in audiology and Spanish to bring services to several communities.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, hiking at the Indiana Dunes State Park, and reading with her book club.
She is practicing at The South Bend Clinic’s main campus.
