Maggie Dhom earned a Master of Science in speech-language pathology in 2014 from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. She earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in English Literature from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2006.
Before pursuing a career in speech-language pathology, Maggie taught early childhood students, ages three to six, in a Montessori school. Her experiences as an educator sparked her interest in the study of speech-language pathology. She maintains an interest in pediatric language disorders. Maggie also has strong clinical interests in adult voice and swallowing disorders, with a particular interest in the interdisciplinary care of individuals undergoing treatment for head and neck cancer.
Maggie is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
She is welcoming new patients downtown at The South Bend Clinic’s main campus on North Eddy Street.
