Naseer Nasser,  M.D. is a board-certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist, Interventional Cardiologist, and Vascular and Endovascular Interventionalist at The South Bend Clinic who can perform procedures at both Memorial Hospital and St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

Naseer completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiovascular fellowship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, and his Interventional Vascular and Cardiac Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.  He served as a fellow in Cardiac Electrophysiology at the University of Florida and Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville after graduating from medical school at The University of Baghdad, College of Medicine.

Naseer remembers the exact moment he decided he wanted to become a doctor.  As a boy in Iraq, he saw a chest x-ray on the floor and was fascinated by it.  A neighbor saw him and said, “You want to be a doctor?”  And the rest is history.  Those who know and work with Naseer say he is a perfectionist in every way, treats his patients like family and educates them about their condition.

Naseer Nasser, M.D. does in-office consultations as well as in-hospital procedures. These include coronary, peripheral vascular and cardiac electrophysiology procedures.

Naseer is a fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society. He served on two ACC/AHA and HRS guidelines Evidence Review Committees for prevention of sudden cardiac death as well as Biventricular and Parahisian pacing.

In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer and gardening.
