I knew very early on that I wanted to be a doctor and believed I would become a surgeon, following in the footsteps of one of my inspirations, Dr. Alexa Canady, the first African American Neurosurgeon in the US. However, what ultimately grabbed my heart was Pediatrics. While on my medical school rotations, I decided that advocating on behalf of one of our most vulnerable and promising populations, our children, was where my passion lied.

Personal Interests

I am married with four children. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family on vacations, assembling jigsaw puzzles, and being a positive role model to help galvanize interest in STEM careers and help young girls realize their own potential. I am humbled by the ability to provide excellent care to a diverse population of children, and I am currently accepting new patients into my practice.
