Full Skin Exam

Your skin tells an important story about your health, and a full body skin exam helps you stay one step ahead.

A full body skin exam is a simple, head-to-toe evaluation performed by a Duly dermatologist or advanced practice provider to check for new or changing moles, spots, or growths. These exams are key to detecting skin cancer early, when it is easiest to treat, and can also identify other skin conditions that may need attention.

During the visit, your provider will carefully examine all areas of your skin, including those not regularly exposed to the sun. If something looks concerning, your provider may recommend a closer look or a biopsy to determine if treatment is needed.

Even if you feel healthy, an annual skin exam is an important part of preventive care, especially if you have a history of sunburns, tanning bed use, or a family history of skin cancer. This procedure is typically covered at no cost by most commercial insurance plans.
