My approach to patient care is about building trusting relationships with my patients and addressing their physical, mental, and social concerns. I strive to create a space where patients are supported and feel heard through empathy and understanding. It is vital to clearly explain medicine in a way that someone understands and is educated on evidence-based options and available community recourses for symptomatic improvement and treatment. Ultimately, I intend to use shared decision-making to create a plan with my patients to improve their health.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy anything that allows me to spend quality time with family and friends. I love being outdoors, doing water sports, hiking, geocaching, traveling, creating arts and crafts, building puzzles, watching movies, and singing.

Doctor Dunfee made me feel very comfortable, heard, and thoroughly explained my options and gave me time to research them for my selves since I was nervous about the different routes of treatment. She's made me feel at ease.
Dr. Dunfee has an amazing bedside manner. She is very encouraging about making positive changes for my health, without making me feel bad about my previous bad choices.
