Reegan Miller, PA‑C
Q: What first sparked your interest in healthcare, and what inspired you to become an Advanced Practice Provider?
A: I always knew that I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare. I have always had a passion for solving problems and helping people. Being a PA allows me to work closely and collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals. Working in pediatrics at the South Bend Clinic is very rewarding, as I get to work with a team of pediatricians to provide the best healthcare that we can for our patients.
Q: Was there a person or experience that influenced your career path?
A: My experience during my pediatric rotation in school influenced me to pursue a career focused on pediatrics. I loved being able to work with young patients, from newborns to adolescents.
Q: What do you find most meaningful about the work you do each day?
A: The most meaningful aspect of working in pediatrics is the relationships that I get to build with patients and their families.
Q: What’s one lesson you’ve learned from your patients?
A: One lesson that I’ve learned while working in pediatrics is to be a good listener. Listening intently to what my young patients and their families have to say is crucial in helping to provide the highest quality of care for my patients and in building trusting relationships.
