South Bend Clin­ic phar­ma­cist Jes­si­ca H. was recent­ly hon­ored with induc­tion into the Indi­ana Bas­ket­ball Hall of Fame’s 2025 Wom­en’s Sil­ver Anniver­sary Team, rec­og­niz­ing her out­stand­ing high school bas­ket­ball career from 25 years ago. Now coach­ing youth bas­ket­ball while bal­anc­ing her phar­ma­cy career, Jes­si­ca demon­strates how the dis­ci­pline and team­work skills learned on the court con­tin­ue to shape her pro­fes­sion­al suc­cess and com­mu­ni­ty impact.

What began as a sim­ple act of kind­ness — paint­ing rocks for young patients — blos­somed into a heart­felt artis­tic mis­sion bring­ing com­fort, con­nec­tion, and col­or to the South Bend Clin­ic com­mu­ni­ty. Check out Phongsamout’s sto­ry.

For 42 years, Daniel and Mary G. have been part­ners in life, shar­ing count­less mem­o­ries, from hik­ing the Grand Canyon to whale watch­ing. Their trav­els across the coun­try have only strength­ened their bond. But recent­ly, their jour­ney took an unex­pect­ed and fright­en­ing turn.

For 16 years, Latisha B. has worked as a med­ical assis­tant along­side Dr. Ebonee Davis, an inter­nal med­i­cine physi­cian at The South Bend Clin­ic (SBC). Through­out her career, Latisha has been dri­ven by a deep ded­i­ca­tion to help­ing oth­ers. Now, as she faces her own health chal­lenges, she draws upon the same strength and com­pas­sion that she has always offered her patients to guide her through this dif­fi­cult time.
