Grow­ing up with a father as a physi­cian, I was able to watch prob­a­bly the most influ­en­tial per­son in devel­op­ing my prac­tice style. Despite dif­fi­cult cir­cum­stances, he always seemed to have patients walk away from their encoun­ters with him feel­ing bet­ter than when they first arrived. Regard­less of finan­cial, socioe­co­nom­ic, or med­ical knowl­edge sta­tus, every patient deserves to be heard, feel val­ued, and have clear­ly explained options for them to choose what’s best for their par­tic­u­lar health­care journey.

I enjoy most cold weath­er activ­i­ties, includ­ing snow­board­ing and hock­ey. Watch­ing and pre­vi­ous­ly coach­ing our kids hock­ey, lacrosse, and eques­tri­an activ­i­ties. Trav­el­ing any­where with my wife, kids when we can con­vince them, and my Ger­man shep­herd, who equal­ly loves to travel.
