I am hum­bled by being allowed to par­tic­i­pate in the care of my patients at some of their rawest moments, whether it is the birth of a first child, the loss of a desired preg­nan­cy, cycle irreg­u­lar­i­ties that dic­tate their dai­ly lives or nor­mal well-woman care. I con­nect with my patients through val­i­da­tion, com­pas­sion, empa­thy, and sup­port. Every woman deserves to be heard and to feel there is a safe space to dis­cuss the health con­cerns unique to this field, and I am thank­ful to be wel­comed into that space with patients.
